Invisible Nanomaterial

According to reports soon to be published in Nature and Science, scientists at the University of California - Berkeley and and the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, also in California have made strides in the development of nanomaterials capable of bending light in ways that can produce invisibility. See photo above. This material, when perfected, will be of particular importance to pirates. Arrrgh.
