The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that an Australian jeweler has recently completed a private commission for a unique pair of champagne glasses adorned with 1,700 pink and white diamonds, platinum, and white and pink gold. The glasses were carved by five jewelers over a period of three months from two solid blocks of quartz crystal. The glasses sold to a Melbourne business man for $US400,000.00. The glasses will be on display at Calleija's store opening in London. Arrrrgh!
