Oldest Bottle of Yellow Label Veuve Cliquot Discovered

The owner of Torosay Castle on the Isle of Mull recently discovered what is now acknowledged to be the oldest known bottle of yellow-labelled Veuve Cliquot Champagne. Until recently, the bottle was locked in a wooden dining room side board for which the key had been lost. The bottle is now on display at Veuve Cliquot in Reims.
